WHEN YOUR SHIPMENT ARRIVES

Upon delivery, please check the shipping boxes thoroughly. This includes checking the outside surface of the boxes as well as the contents inside the boxes. If the boxes show evidence of rough handling or should they be punctured, crushed, dented, creased, torn, or wet, it is a MUST that this condition be noted on all copies of the delivery receipt when you sign for the shipment. Then inspect each part individually for damage. Should you suspect that the contents are damaged or if there are any visual shipping damages, it is important to document the damages in detail on the Delivery Receipt and have the delivery party co-sign the Delivery Receipt. If the driver is not present at the time of your inspection, please contact us immediately by calling 502-893-3312 or send us an email to orders@decorativehardwarestore.com and we will assist you in obtaining a resolution. Unfortunately, we can only process requests of replacements within 14 days of your delivery.

If the shipment delivered to you is not in accordance with the number of cartons shown on the delivery receipt, have the delivering driver note the shortage on the delivery receipt when delivery takes place. Advise us of any shortage and we will trace the shipment with the delivery carrier. If the shortage cannot be located within a reasonable time, the missing items will be replaced.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

As much as we try our very best to prevent damages, there will inevitably be circumstances in which this may occur and we sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you. We also greatly appreciate your help and support in helping us to remedy the issue.

In the event of a damaged shipment, please notify Period Restoration, LLC immediately either by phone (preferable) or by e-mail. If you contact us by phone we will provide you with step-by-step instructions as to what to do. If you contact us during the actual delivery, we will also be able to give you exact instructions during the delivery process.

Any and all damage claims must be reported to Period Restoration, LLC within 72 hours of delivery. If merchandise is damaged or defective, we will arrange repair or replace, at our discretion, any products which do not conform to the manufacturers specifications. Period Restoration, LLC is not responsible for any damage not reported to Period Restoration, LLC within 72 hours of delivery No Exception. At Period Restoration, LLC we strive to provide each customer with a pleasant and memorable experience. By inspecting your deliveries and properly documenting any damages and notifying us promptly, you are providing Period Restoration, LLC with the ability to guarantee your satisfaction. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Product may be repaired in your home or may be sent for repair. Customer agrees to accept delivery appointment for any backorders, repairs or replacement product to complete the order process. No merchandise may be directly returned to Period Restoration, LLC under any circumstances.

If merchandise is damaged or defective, we would like to help bring resolution very quickly. In order to accomplish this expeditiously, we need to know exactly what happened during the delivery and the exact condition of the outside of the boxes as well as the condition of the actual item(s) in the boxes. Thus, we will send you out an e-mail immediately asking you to please answer all of our questions, which will then provide us with the information we need to promptly either repair or replace the damaged product. For us to promptly process replacement product requests as well as repairs, we will need to see actual pictures of the damage. We greatly appreciate your help if you have a digital camera and can forward to us clear pictures showing the actual damage to the merchandise. In the e-mail we send to you after you notify us about the damage, there is a link which we ask you to click on to take you to an area in which you can upload these pictures directly to us. When taking pictures, we would greatly appreciate your help in clearly showing the condition of the boxes as well as the actual merchandise. In the event you do not have a digital camera, please notify our staff and we will promptly send you out a camera, which you can use to take pictures and then send back to us so that we can have clear pictures of the damage. We will send out the camera to you along with a postage paid envelope, which you can use to send back to us. Upon receiving the images, we will promptly have either a replacement item(s) sent out to you or have a product medic sent out to your home to promptly repair the damage. We sincerely appreciate your help and support in this process, as we understand the inconvenience you will incur as a result of this. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

CANCELLATIONS/RETURNS & EXCHANGES

When ordering, please read the text description carefully to confirm exactly what is included in your order. If it appears unclear, please contact us, so that we can provide you with additional information. Once an order is processed, the order cannot be canceled and can only be returned in accodance with our return policy. We greatly appreciate your understanding! Your order is reviewed for accuracy and verified with the manufacturer as soon as it is received. In cases where manufacturers inform us of changes in availability, you will be notified as soon as possible. Such information can cause delays in your estimated shipping time. Period Restoration, LLC is not responsible for such changes in availability or for any other inadvertent errors on our site.

If an item is out-of-stock, we can usually provide the buyer with an estimate of availability. Due to the nature of our many products lines, many item lead times change throughout the year. Please consult with any of our Customer Service Representatives for exact product lead times. If shipment has been delayed for other reasons, we will try to notify customers as soon as possible, so that proper delivery arrangements can be made.

If the warranty does not cover replacement parts, or if it has expired, Period Restoration, LLC can usually order parts for all of the products listed on this site. Please contact our sales department for more information. In the body of the email, please specify what parts are needed.

As soon as you place your order, we begin the procurement process with the vendor. Once we have placed the order at your request, Period Restoration, LLC and you, our customer, each become obligated to complete payment of the purchase price. For that reason, we are unable to accept cancellations, in either whole or part, once the order is placed.

If you do any of the following, it will treated as an unauthorized cancellation of your order, subject to the greater of 1) a cancellation fee of 50% of your order plus actual shipping charges or 2) actual damages incurred by the company which includes additional shipping and restocking costs and lost company profits from the sale: 1) Refuse the delivery of your orderor 2) Refuse the shipment because at the time of delivery you see the product and decide it is no longer what you want or 3) Refuse delivery because the product arrives damaged, and rather than give us a chance to fix the problem through a replacement part(s) or a replacement unit(s) or repairman, you decide you no longer want it and refuse delivery or 4) ) Refuse or return any product due to such variation in product as wood grain or glass color or finish or 5) Return the merchandise to the sender without prior authorization.

All products (unless noted on our site) are sold with the full manufacturers warranty. All previously approved returned merchandise must be in "as-new" condition, uninstalled, and in its original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Any discrepancies or damages in returned merchandise could result in delay or partial forfeiture of your credit. Please be sure to contact us with tracking information for the returned goods. Once the manufacturer receives this merchandise back, they will inspect the merchandise and begin processing the credit. Please allow 3-5 weeks for credit processing.

All returns must be handled throught the Ploicy/Returns section of the webiste. All returns must be accomapnied by an RGA and are subject to the Return policies found on the Returns polices page of the website.

SHIPPING METHODS

We believe the best method of delivering product to our customers is to ship products directly from our manufacturers and suppliers to you. This system significantly reduces costs and expenses by removing the intermediate distribution layers. We transfer these savings on to you by offering you excellent pricing. If your order contains more than one item with a different name, it is possible that the merchandise will be coming from different suppliers and manufacturers, as well as on different days because they ship from different parts of the country.

Lead-times quoted on the site are based on estimates from our manufacturers. Although we work with our vendors to ensure the timeliest method of delivery, and the accurate portrayal of lead times, Period Restoration, LLC reserves the right to make adjustments to lead times due to changing market conditions, product discontinuations, and manufacturer delays that were not predictable. Period Restoration, LLC cannot be held responsible for delivery delays beyond estimated lead times as represented on the site.

If you are shipping to Hawaii, or Alaska and would like to know any shipping fees prior to placing an order, we ask that you call us for an exact shipping quote. No international shipments at all.

INDIVIDUALLY UNIQUE ITEMS

Several items on our site are made with hand blown glass, some even by mouth, so as a result each piece is unique and may vary slightly from one another. While the image on our site will be exceedingly similar to that of the finished product, slight variations might be found. The color of the glass will have the same primary colors, however the color pattern you receive might differ from that seen on the website, as the glass is hand blown and it is nearly impossible to replicate the same design twice. You agree that Period Restoration, LLC will not be held responsible for such variations in color and/or glass pattern as that seen on the website due to the fixtures differing from one another. The beauty of hand blown glass is that no one in the world will have the same exact glass as you, it is an artistic piece. Furthermore, if glass patterns on the outside of glass differ from that as represented on the website, Period Restoration, LLC will not be held accountable.

Many items on our website come in produced batches. It is for this reason, that if you purchase more than one of the same fixture, it is entirely possible that one or more fixture will be a slightly different color, as it might not have come from the same batch. Period Restoration, LLC works extremely closely with its vendors to minimize this from happening and if you purchase more than one of the same fixture, you will receive all of them in the very close finishes.
